Sugar Bowl Challenge

Was such a lovely sketch this week to work with, I used one of my gorjuss girl stamps I love using these so much. Papers were from Tara a while back (ive got a lot of use from those papers hehehe) Pink card from stash (probably from the papermill) I used my doily punch, cant seem to use this enough its soooo pretty, ribbon is from my stash. I used my nesties to make my scolloped circle, which I then added gems to. Flowers are prima ones with gems in the centres and sentiment is from hero art stamp set.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, im so excited im going to the sonisphere festival this weekend and im soooo excited about seeing one of my favorit bands EVER - Metallica :) lets hope the weathers nice or I think ill have to dig the wellies out hehehehe

Card for Katy

I made this card for my good friend Katy at ... http://katysbloggeroo.blogspot.com/ I know she has received it, so safe for to put on here now. The image used is one of my fairy song art images, the papers are by making memories, which I stamped some swirls onto. I used my martha stewart doiley punch (I love this punch soooo much) flowers are prima with gems for the centres and the leafs are a leone punch. The sentiment is from a hero art stamp set.

Ok so this is totally unrelated to card making but if anyone like me is a huge twilight fan, check out these clips from the new movie new moon (out this nov) the clips arent that brilliant quality but you get to see the very sexy Robert Pattinson with is top off, OMG yum !!! also the second clip is of the newly bulked up Jacob Black, I must say he is filling out very nicely indeed hehehehe ... i know what a perv hehehehe

Sugar Bowl Challenge

I really enjoyed making this card, it was such a lovely simply sketch to use. The added challenge was to use ribbon or a bow, I decided to put lace on my card and a ribbon bow. The papers are by making memories. The image is by leanne ellis, i coloured her using watercolour pencils and added stickels to the star and to her flower in her hair. Sorry the pictures are a bit dark but there is no sun today, hope everyone is having a lovely weekend xxx

Skater Ian Card

I thought I best make some boys cards as I definately lack in this department as I find them really hard to make. I coloured my Ian image in with watercolour pencils. The background paper I stamped on using one of the free magazine stamp ive had a while. The Sentimate I cut from the reverse of the background paper I used. The skull and crossbones are a cuttlebug die and I added gems to the eyes.

Miss Anya Christmas Cards

I thought I best start making some christmas cards as I am doing 5 craft fairs this year and I also sell card at work so thought im going to have to make a lot !!!!! I absolutely love these miss anya images, ive used watercolour pencils to colour in then added stickles to all the fir trims. The papers used are all dovecraft (I think) the snowflakes and swirls are sizzix dies with gems and buttons for centres. I also used my marther stewart doiley punch on the red and green card (loving this punch sooooo much)

ROP challenge - Gatefold & Stitching

This weeks challenge is to make a gatefold card, i have never made one of these before so this was quite a good one for me. The second part of the challenge was to use stitching on your card, i decided to get the sewing machine out for this. The papers used where given to me ages ago so i dont know what make they are. The image is from the greetings farm (i love these images there so lovely to colour)i used water colour pencils as always and i added stickles to the trim of her dress, bow, flowers in her hair and eyeshadow (but it doesnt show well in these pictures). i used nesties lables to matt and lay my image. The white flowers were from Tara and the silk pink ones ive had for years in my stash and have finally used them !!! The sentiment and bell images are also from the greetings farm (sorry about the pictures there abit dark)

Best Friends Birthday Card and Sugar Bowl Challenge

I was sent this image from Julie and i must say i enjoyed using it so much its another one for my wish list !!! that list is always growing hehehehe The sketch provided for the sugar bowl challenge was fab to use and im so please with how this card turned out. The papers are by making memories. Flowers are prima flowers with a gem in the center. The image i water coloured and added a few blue and purple pearls to the circles on the image for added sparkle and depth. I also added stickles to the flowers for a bit of sparkle. The sentiment tags are by stampaway and i stamped these onto coordinating paper that used for backing paper.

It my friends birthday tomorrow lets hope she likes it !!!!

WOJ Recipe Challenge

This weeks challenge was a recipe - 3 patterened papers, 3 flowers and 1 ribbon. I dont know what brand of papers these were some where downloaded and one was given to me. The flowers are by papermania with gems for the centers and the leafs are a leone punch. Ribbon is from my stash. I used my martha stewart doily punch for this card, love this punch so much !!!!! corner details are sizzix dies. I watercoloured my image and covered her is 3D gloss.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend, wasnt the weather lovely :) we had a fab time at the music festival all the bands were brilliant, think the pidgeon dectives were my fav of the day :)

Colour Create Challenge Card

Really enjoyed making this one, the Colours went so lovely together, this week it was lemon, sunflower yellow, grass green, apple green and white (hope i got that right hehehe)I used my new nesties to matt and lay, i love these gorjuss girls images i coloured her in with watercolour pencils. The papers are K&Co. the ribbon is a self adhesive one i found in my stash, Tara kindly sent me these gorgeous diecut orchids which i watcoloured to add a bit of colour and then added stickles for a bit of sparkle. Swirls are die cuts by sizzix. Gems from stash. sorry the inside of my card isnt very exciting i just used my new martha stewart doily punch with the off cuts of the paper i used for the front of my card and made decorative strips along the spine. The envelope i stamped a matching gorjuss girl image onto and coloured her in.

Sorry the inside and envelope arnt very exciting but im off to a music festival tomorrow in Kent and want to get everything ready so i rushed it, hope this lovely weather stay nice for it, cant wait im so excited :) hope everyone has a fab weekend xxx

Husbands Birthday Card

I dont know why but I always find it so hard to make male cards. This one I did for my better halfs birthday on sunday :) the image was from Alex a while back (I love these hanglar images but as I dont have any actual stamps of them I find it so hard to make myself use my presious images hahahaha) the papers green background paper was downloaded and the circular paper is by papermania I think? which I made using my nesties. Buttons are all from stash and the sentiment tag is a stamp aways stamp. I felt it needed more so I added some gold peel offs saying husband and lots of stars. Sorry the picture isnt very good I took it outside this morning but it wasnt very sunny.


Finally I thought I would just share with you a piccie of my beautiful lillies that have just flowered I think there such a pretty colour.
