Blog Hopping with the Bombshells

Im so sorry for the delay i was meant to post this yesterday but life is just manic at the moment !!!!

Anyway here is my card for this months blog hop, I love playing along with all the bombshells and couldnt wait to join in with anyother blog hop :)

This month was a combined hop with the Girls over at Gauche Alchemy.
and the theme was "Some like it Hot" and the song "Hot, Hot, Hot"

Bombshell - August Sketch Challenge

I made this card for this month's bombshell sketch challenge I absolutely LOVED this sketch, I used one of my new Bombshells which I coloured using watercolour pencils and distress ink, the little compass embellishments are also from the same set that I stamped using different coloured distress inks then added tiny brads to the centres, the sentiment 'homeward bound' is also from this fab stamp set. The papers are K&Co. and the satin ribbon I found in my stash.

Bunny Zoeys - Vintage

Hope everyone is well in Blogland, I made this card for the Bunny Zoey's monthly challenge, this month the challenge is Vintage, which i think this card fits perfectly, the papers and embellishments (butterfly and birdcage) are K&Co. This cute image is by sugar nellie that I watercoloured, I then distress around the edge of my image using sir tim holtz distress ink. The flower I made using again sir tims gorgeous tattered florals and old dictionary paper with a button for the centre.

Crafty Calender Callenge DT Card - Sketch

WOW where does the time fly too ??? its another first friday of the month, which means it time for another crafty calender challenge, this month we have a sketch challenge so please pop over to play along and also to check out the fab DT cards.

I hope everyone has a fab weekend, were going to visit my husbands twin brother on sunday, he and his girlfiend had a baby girl last weekend so were going to see her for the first time, she was only 5lb 1oz how tiny is that !!!!!

Also I promised a couple of piccies from Sonisphere, its was so awesome ....





This what i like to see first thing in the morning, my men making me breakfast hahahahaha

Quixotic Challenges - Life a Beach

This months challenge at quixotic is to make a card with either the beach or underwater in mind. I went for the beach option, I think my Ian looks like hes on his way to bum it out on the beach. The embellishment is actually a clothing tag by sol cal and I thought it fit in with the theme, I love recycling stuff hehehehehe The paper are papermania, theres not really much else to say about my card, the prize this month is a £15 voucher to spend at Elaines lovely shop.

On another note I had a brilliant weekend at Sonisphere festival the bands were amazing and I cant even tell you how good Iron Maiden were, its the 2nd time ive been to see them and we managed to get right at the front (with 55,000 people behind us !!!!) the atmoshpere was brilliant. I wanted to share a couple of pictures with you of my weekend but there on my other camera which I left at home doh !!!! hehehehe Ill add some piccies to my next post xxxx

This gorgeous Bombshell is from the 'mans ruin' set which I watercoloured and added a lot of stickles too (unfortunately it doesnt really show in the photos) I also added 3D gloss to the glass to make it look real. I'm not sure what brand this cherry paper is as someone gave me it, but I absolutely LOVE it !!!! the scalloped edge I made using a Martha Stewart punch and the cherry ribbon I brought at Alley Pally earlier in the year. The gorgeous swallows and scroll sentiment are also bombshell stamps from the 'love and luck' set.

I heart Twilight !!!!!

I made these cards just before Eclipse came out in the cinema to sell at the last craft fair I did and I just thought I would share them with you, how much do I LOVE twilight (a lot I can tell you) hehehehehehe

Hope everyone has a fab weekend, I have no plans what so ever ... heaven :) it seems such a long time since me and hubby had no plans I cant wait. Im just too excited for words about next weekend, its our first music festival of the year - Sonisphere YAY it was the first one ever last year and the headliners where my favourit band ever - metallica and we had such a great time, this year there are so many people playing that I LOVE - Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Placebo, fightstar, Skunk Anassie to name just a few, one week to go and counting :) xxxx

Bombshell July Sketch Challenge

I made this card for the Bombshell forum's monthly sketch challenge. I really enjoyed useing this sketch and will be useing again I think. The gorgeous image of course is by bombshell that I watercoloured. The papers are basic grey, the black dots are a mixture of black gems and hand drawn dots. The bombshells are having there monthly blog hop next week and I really hope I manage to get a card made in time so I can play along.

Burtonesque Dolls Challenge

This weeks challenge over at the Burtonesque dolls is inspired by Tim Burtons film Ed Wood, so the challenge is to use black and white. I used my gorgeous tickled pink image which is this weeks sponser. The papers and ribbon I found in my stash, the doily edge I made using a Martha Stewart punch. The flowers I made using Tim Holtz tattered florals and dictionary pages which I then screwed up and added a little bat to the centre (the bat is a cuttlebug die) I then added tiny black gems for his eyes.

Crafts and Me - pink, black and white

Sorry for not posting for a whole week I had a craft fair at the weekend in the St Albans town hall with my lovely artist friend steph so ive been a busy bee making lots of things to sell, we both did really well and had a fab day together.

I made this card for the crafts and me challenge which is a colour challenge this week (sorry i added a little green into the mix, slap my wrist) I used a penny black image that i watercoloured, i dont know what brand the paper is and everything else is from my stash.

I had a fab weekend and even flew a plane on friday !!!! i know pretty upreal, here are a couple of piccies ...




I also did a photo shoot with my lovely friend Dawn which was such a brilliant day and the photos are stunning, I had loads of fun prancing around the wood and lakes near my house dressed like a fairy, please feel free to pop over and have a nose xxx

For the love of bombshells

It seems I cant go too long before I have to play with my bombshells again hahahaha just made this card for the love it. Im sooooo excited after having my huge craft room clearout and making a bit more room in the craft department of the house, Ive finally spent most of the money I made from it, I have 8 new sets, yep you heard right 8 !!! (I couldnt help it I couldnt stop myself) of Bombshells winging there way to me from America YAY I cant wait for them to arrive now so I can ink them up hahahahaha

My Tattoo is still healing its nearly there but ill wait till its completely healed before I put a photo on here of my masterpiece in all its glory, here is a little piccie of Rob tattooing me
