Something a little different

Ok so I love to get down and dirty sometimes (ooooo that sounds rude hehehehe) I love a good bit of grunging !!!!! I started off with a bit of plain boring black paper which I distressed to the max, them I stamped using tim holtz stamps which I heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Then I got a piece of white card that i stamped the heart stamp on to (also tim holtz) coloured and then added crackle paint too (love that stuff) then I distressed, inked and ripped till my hearts content and this was the final result, im really pleased with how it turned out.

Im so looking forward to this weekend :) Halloween !!!!! I am having a halloween fancy dress party this year for my close friends so I will be decorating my house tomorrow and making it look all spooky :) this will then be followed my far to many sweets, apple bobbing, copious amounts of wine and cheesy horror films !!!! woohoo what more could you want, i think my choice of films will be corpse bride, the nightmare before christmas and corline :) all perfectly spooky in my opinion :)

All my miss Anyas are getting paired up !!!!

Look another one of my Miss Anyas has found herself a boyfriend, think these two make quite the couple. The gorgeous papers and those scrummy leafs again are from the lovely Katy, thanks again darling. The ribbon is from my stash and all the flowers are prima with dew drops in the centres.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, im really looking forward to mine, my nanny is going to be 86 tomorrow so i shall be celebrating with her. She still fit as a fiddle, hope i turn out to be half the amazing women she is, shes my hero and can still drink me under the table hahahaha :)

Miss Anya has a boyfriend :)

I just couldnt resist pairing up these two little cuties, dont they make such a cute couple !!!!! Love these new My Guy Ian stamps. As always ive coloured using water coloured pencils. The hearts are a cuttlebug die and the leafs and flowers where from my lovely friend Katy (thanks again hun) can i ask what make die these leafs are ??? are a sizzix die ??? i love them !!! think there another thing for the wish list - oh dear the crafters never ending wish list !!! hahahahaha i just keep adding to mine, the new kimmie stamps are currently on top at the moment, there sooooo fab.

I love these miss anya images they are just so lovely to use. Ive not made this card of any reason other than i just felt like it !!!! i really love this colour combo, as always ive coloured with watercoloured pencils. The papers are MME, the flowers are prima with a button for the centre and the leaf punch is a leone one. sorry but the main piccie isnt that good, you never get the full effect untill its uploaded, oh well never mind. Hope everyone is well xxxx

2 more Art Journal Pages

Hello peeps sorry ive been a little absent this week, ive been so busy and im not quite on what hahahahaha time has just seemed to passed in a blink of an eye. Ok so first off i'll show a couple of art journal pages ive made and then ill tell you a little of what the psychic told me, she was so scarily right about me ...




ok so as i said in my last post i was going to a psychic night, it was so much fun and i couldnt get over how correct she was about me, about things that have already happened in my life and thing that are yet to come ... first she said she could sense in my aura and soul that i was an artistic and creative person :) (i did check my hands and there was no paint or ink on them !!!) she knew that i was an aries and she knew extact what type of person i was, she did a tarot reading and knew that i love travelling and said that i would never stop travelling :) yippee !!!! she knew that i didnt have any children yet but she said i would have 2 or 3 children and the first would be in about 2 years ekkkkk how scary hehehehehe she said that i was in the wrong job and that i was born to teach she said that young people and children love me and that she could see me teach that age group but not in an achidemic sense (ill add that this point that my dream jobs would be either a nursary school teacher or an art therapist for people with learning difficulties) she did say that i would do this job but not for some time. In the middle of my reading she asked me why peru was a turning point in my life (ahhhhh how scray how did she know that !!!) i was in a very bad relationship for 6 year and peru was the turning point for me i booked it for myself and about a year before i went i broke up with the horrible person that was in my life and i met my now husband. i went to peru for macmillan cancer, i cycled from lake titticca to machu picchu (500km) over 6 days and raised £6,000, it was such a life changing experience and i completely changed my outlook on life and became such a positive person. i cant even begin to tell you about all the other stuff in my life that she was right about, all i can say is that i was 100% blown away and i will definately have another reading done at some stage.

anyway i hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, mines been so busy (again doing not much)think ill go an have another glass of wine to recover, bye for now xxxx

Anyone for Anya Challenge

This weeks challenge over at anyone for anya is 'your anya' you have to use any anya or greeting farm image that you think suits your personality. I think this new anya from the dressy set quite suits me as she looks a little different and unique. I have coloured her in bold bright colours as like me she likes to make a bit of a statement. I gave her some green eyeshadow as when I do wear make up (about twice a year) I always like to wear green eyeshadow. I coloured my image using watercolour pencils. The papers are MME (love these papers sooooo much) and all the flowers are prima with buttons in the centres.

Im so excited tonight im going to a psychic night at one of the pubs not too far from where i live, not quite decided whether i want my tarot cards read, my palm or rune stones !!!!! i wonder what they will be able to tell me ???

Second Art Journal Page

Hope everyones had a lovely weekend(always goes far to quickly in my opinion) i didnt get much crafting done but i did manage to make another art journal page, im really enjoying doing these and can definately see it becoming another obsession (think it may already have) - how many crafting obsessions can one girl have !!!! I think this page was definately inspired by Dyan and the stunning pages she creates, thanks for the inspiration hun xxx anyway ill be back on tomorrow to post a card that i made over the weekend.

Crafty Calander Challenge is Finally Here !!!!

Well here it is my first ever DT card !!! To say I was happy when Georgia asked me to be a DT member is a little bit of an understatement, I was over the moon that she asked me to be part of the team for the Craft Calender Challenge Blog. Today is the launch of the first ever challenge so please pop on over and check it out (there is a link on my sidebar) It is a monthly challenge that will be set on the first Friday of every month. The challenge this month is to make an autumn themed card with the added option of using some kind of plant or vegitation on your card. I love this tilda image and couldnt resist using her for this challenge, I have coloured using watercolour pencil and I smudged gold ink around my image for a distressed look. The paper were given to me by the lovely Tara, thanks again hun xxx the ribbon is from my stash. The flowers are prima with a gem in the centre and the leaves are a Leone punch. The gorgeous little pumpkins are some buttons I found at Hobbycraft.

First Ever Art Journal Page

Well here it is I finally took the plunge ... here is my first ever art journal page, let me know what you think. I painted, stamped, distressed and scribbled was so much fun making so much mess, think I will definately be making some more, it nice to just go for it for a change and experiment. I used my new tim holtz stamp and rock candy crackle paint LOVE IT !!!!!

I am so ashamed to admit this is my craft room or as the hubby likes to call it my crafting carnage !!!! Believe it or not I had a quick little tidy before this picture HAHAHAHA what a slob !!!! it used to be tidy once a upon a time ... the thing is im a complete clean freak with the rest of my house hehehehe i took some close up of the state of my room and it looked terrible so theres no way im putting those on here too ...hmmm think ill go and give it a little tidy now !!!!

Christmas Cards

Here are some more Christmas Cards ive made, I actually made about 9 over the weekend and thought I would bore you with a couple at a time hahahahha You maybe thinking im obessessed with Christmas but it because I have a few craft fairs im doing this year (about 4 I think) and I dont want to leave all the christmas card making till last minute, as I also have loads of other stuff to make too bags, jewellery and little bits and bobs. I have my first craft stall this friday its at a coffe morning event for Macmillan Cancer. Wish my luck and lots of sales.

Exciting News and a Couple of Cards

How excited am I !!!!! Georgia has picked me to be one of the new Design Team Members for the Crafty Calander Challenge, to say I'm happy would be an understatement.
